We live in the communities we serve. Being local means that we are connected to the senior living communities and senior care services our clients need. Being local means we regularly visit the communities in our area meet with our clients, and stay up to date in an ever changing world.
We share the knowledge we gather with our clients. Each of the communities and services in the area are unique, just like our clients. By sharing our knowledge, our clients can make the informed, knowledgeable decisions that will best serve their needs.
We then follow our clients to ensure everything is going well, help navigate challenges, and advocate for our clients if problems arise.
We know our clients often have needs beyond senior living. We take the time to get to know the individuals who provide services to seniors can help in those areas in order to be able to share those resources with our clients.
When we work with our clients, we look at all the whole picture, and then work to connect them with all the support they need and connect them to trusted resources such as movers, realtors, medicare specialists, elder law attorneys, veteran's resources, physicians, home health care and more.
Home care services can be a solution to senior care needs while allowing the senior to stay in the home. Home care services provide caregivers who come into the home and provide assistance with activities of daily living that range from companion services to assistance with meals and housekeeping to transportation to appointments and errands.
Independent Living Communities are a type of senior living community that offers private apartment living in varying sizes and styles. Residents can have meals in a dining room, or choose to cook for themselves in their apartments. These communities are very social communities with lots of activities, transportation, and assistance available in case of an emergency.
Assisted Living Communities are senior living communities that provide assistance with everyday activities while living in a private apartment. Meals, housekeeping and transportation services are provided for residents. Residents can receive assistance with the activities of everyday life, in a private apartment of their own. The amount of assistance available can range from a just a little assistance to a great deal of assistance.
Residential care homes are a type of senior living that can be an alternative to traditional assisted living. Residential care homes are usually tucked in a residential community and look like any other home in the neighborhood when viewed from the street. These homes provide assistance with activities of daily living in a home setting.
Memory care communities are senior living communities that provide specialized care for people who are living with diseases such as Alzheimer's dementia that cause memory loss. Memory care communities are designed to support the specific needs of individuals with memory loss.
Skilled nursing facilities provide both short term rehabilitation services after a fall, and long term residential nursing care. Short term residents are typically admitted after a hospital stay in order to receive therapy. Long term residents live in the community. In this type of senior living, rooms are typically shared with a roommate, and high levels of medical care can be provided.
